This is the branch of physiotherapy concerned with the treatment of injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints and ligaments. Orthopedic Physiotherapy also includes pre and post operative rehabilitation of hip, shoulder and knee. We treat Orthopedic Conditions such as:
Ligament Strain, Sprain or tear
Inflammation of tendons or Bursa
Back and neck pain
From incontinence to prolapse, pelvic pain or constipation, there is growing evidence that physiotherapy can alleviate, and in many cases cure these symptoms.
We educate and empower women throughout all ages and stages of their lives. Through young adulthood, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, pre/post surgery, after cancer diagnosis/treatment and pevlic pain.
We teach women how their bodies work, how to overcome injury, how to recover and retrain, how to find their core and inner strength, what is normal and what are the things women should not have to accept as normal.
Visceral Manipulation Therapy
“Viscera” relates to the internal organs of the body, such as the liver, kidneys, and intestines. Visceral Manipulation is a gentle manual therapy that aids your body’s ability to release restrictions and unhealthy compensations that cause pain and dysfunction. Visceral Manipulation Therapy re-establishes the body’s ability to adapt and restore itself to health.
Vestibular dysfunction (Vertigo & Dizziness)
Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based program, designed by a specialty-trained vestibular physical therapist, to improve balance and reduce problems related to dizziness. Patients typically are diagnosed with dizziness, imbalance, vertigo, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), neck-related dizziness and migraines.
